LEVITTOWN, Puerto Rico, Friday January 22, 2016 – A Puerto Rico hotel is capitalizing on the hospitality management experience of a seasoned professional to improve guest satisfaction and support the professional development of younger members of the staff.
Veteran hotelier Jaime Pico, the newly appointed operations manager of the family-run Comfort Inn and Suites in Levittown, has joined the hotel after spending several years serving in senior roles with both the Hampton Inn and the storied Palmas Del Mar hotel in Puerto Rico
Pico joins operations engineer Carlos Bauzo on the management team where the two share a common goal to elevate the ratings of the already popular hotel.
“We plan to invest heavily in employee training to take our already great guest satisfaction scores to an even higher level,” said Pico, who is enjoying his assignment at the pet-friendly hotel, which features beautiful ocean views.
“Jaime brings a lot of wisdom and experience to take us to the next level,” said Bauzo, whose parents own and manage the 60-room hotel located just 15 minutes from historic San Juan and nearby the environmentally friendly Blue Flag Beach of Punta Salinas.
Pico pledged to lead by example to inspire the staff and to make regular communication with employees a priority “so that we can achieve our goals together as a team.”
With affordable room rates starting below US $100 per night (exclusive of taxes), Comfort Inn and Suites in Levittown is just 15 minutes’ drive from bustling San Juan. The hotel serves guests traveling to the many businesses in the Levittown area, and is an attractive alternative to hotels in San Juan as it’s also just a short ferry ride across the bay from charming Old San Juan.
The Puerto Rico hotel offers spacious, air-conditioned guest rooms equipped with flat screen televisions, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. Some rooms feature balconies, sofa sleepers, microwaves and refrigerators.
